KISS were forced to pause their April 12 concert in Manaus, Brazil after Gene Simmons ended up falling ill onstage. According to G1, the bassist/vocalist requested a chair so he can perform while seated, before frontman Paul Stanley stopped the show. Brazilian journalist Igor Miranda says Simmons returned to the stage several minutes later and thanked the crowd before continuing. The man himself has since commented on the incident as well:
