Carnifex are planning to hit the studio on February 15 to begin the recording process for their new album. Frontman Scott Ian Lewis commented:

“Writing for record ni9e is nearly done 💀 Amazing riffing and songwriting from @nealfingtiemann @theshawncameron @buddhafex & @furdycal. A collection of truly brutal and anthemic @carnifex songs that I know will become new favorites. The album is titled, lyrics are over half done and we will be in the studio with @jason_suecof starting Feb 15th for about 5 weeks. Live drums are back, epic solos are back, the next evolution of CFX is here. Hold on tight 💀🖤”
