Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Dynoride

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Dynoride.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

DYNORIDE: DYNORIDE has been described as “mesmerizing, energetic rock” as their songs feature hard rock riffs with an energy likened to punk rock, all wrapped within a pop sensibility.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

DYNORIDE: We listen to and love just about everything, but our strongest influences come from 90’s rock. Coming of age in that time, we really connected with the sound and energy of a lot of the music that was being released at that time. Pretty much everything we write has some sort of influence from this style of music.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

DYNORIDE: November 19, 2022 we released “You Better Watch Out”, which is a Christmas album. Our debut album “What You Wanted” we included “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” as a hidden track and since this time Christmas songs have always found their way onto our setlists around that time of year. Over the years we wrote a few original Christmas songs as well and decided now was the time to finally put together an album.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

DYNORIDE: Our live shows are high energy and tons of fun. We always wear costumes, tell really bad jokes, and swing our instruments dangerously close to people and breakable objects.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

DYNORIDE: Aside from writing some more music, we are hoping to do some really special live shows. We are in the process of planning out a couple larger production shows and hoping to entertain lots of folks.
