Pantera’s Rex Brown was forced to miss the band’s December 11 set at Knotfest Chile in Santiago, Chile due to illness. The band did not reveal what sickness the bassist was suffering from, but a local radio station has since claimed that he tested positive for COVID-19. As such, vocalist Phil Anselmo, guitarist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), and drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax) performed with fill-in bassists Derek Engemann (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, ex-Cattle Decapitation) and Bobby Landgraf (ex-Down).
