During an interview with Knotfest, Slipknot’s Alessandro “V-Man” Venturella revealed that he recorded “Adderall” with a bass that he borrowed from Tool’s Justin Chancellor. Venturella had the following to say about the track, which appears on the band’s latest album “The End, So Far”:
“When we did ‘Adderall‘, we were looking around and I didn’t want to use my standard bass that I use live. Kindly, Justin from Tool lent us this really old P-Bass—That’s the bass that I wrote ‘Adderall‘ [with.] Those types of little things just make the album special.”
