Memphis May Fire’s Matty Mullins Breaks Ribs, Plans To Continue Touring

Memphis May Fire’s Matty Mullins recently broke two of his ribs after taking “a pretty nasty fall.” Despite this, the frontman still plans to continue the band’s current tour.

Mullins issued the following statement:

“I took a pretty nasty fall yesterday & unfortunately broke 2 ribs. I hit my head as well but got scanned & there’s no serious damage there. Thankfully I can still breath well & it’s only certain movements that cause a lot of pain so WE ARE NOT CANCELING SHOWS. I won’t be moving a lot on stage but I would much rather do that than not play at all.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out. The situation is not ideal but the show must go on & i’m so excited to keep rockin’ with y’all!

PS. Gonna need everyone to sing along louder than ever before.”
