Watch Muse Cover Slipknot’s “Duality” During Isle Of Wight Festival

During their set at this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival in Newport, England, Muse performed a cover of Slipknot’s “Duality” as part of the outro for “Won’t Stand Down.” You can see footage of that below. Notably, this isn’t the first time Muse and Slipknot collided. During the 2001 Metalfest in Spain, Muse drummer Dominic Howard got ahold of a mask from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and used it to mock the singer. Muse frontman Matt Bellamy previously said the following about that incident [via Metal Hammer]:

“Oh, the Slipknot guy threw it to this girl at the side of the stage after they played because he must have wanted to impress her. Unfortunately for him she wanted me so we got it. I think Dom got possessed by the spirit of Slipknot when he put it on. He was running around screaming.”
