Woman Gives Birth During Metallica’s Curitiba, Brazil Show

During Metallica‘s May 7 show in Curitiba, Brazil, a fan named Joice M. Figueiró ended up giving birth while the band were onstage. The woman, who was 39 weeks pregnant, says she was feeling fine during the opening acts, but when Metallica took the stage she started having contractions and her water broke before she could be taken to a hospital. The baby was born while the band were performing “Enter Sandman.” Metallica shared a translated version of Figueiró’s story on Instagram:
