Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Armagelion

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Armagelion.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

ARMAGELION: Armagelion comes from my fascination with fantasy and sci-fi. He is the character I always dreamed of, but never saw before. I wanted to be more than a singer. A larger than life hero, a mythological being. The project has been around for two years, but the idea of Armagelion came more than 10 years ago. I wanted to combine theatricality with pure hard rock with reminiscence about the 80s.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

ARMAGELION: Definitely KISS, Bon Jovi and Mötley Crüe.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

ARMAGELION: My latest release is called “Lie To Me”. It’s about when an intense love ends and you refuse to let it go. You’d rather be lied to than accept that it’s all over. I think it’s something everyone can relate with. And if you like catchy hard rock with synths, you’ll love it.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

ARMAGELION: Seeing Armagelion live is quite an experience. To understand what Armagelion is you have to be in one of his rituals. Wild, shocking and loud.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band in 5 years?

ARMAGELION: I see myself making more music and on bigger and more important stages with a wild crowd roaring for Armagelion.
