Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Processor

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Processor.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

PROCESSOR: Processor is an Industrial metal electronic producer. Started doing music with Atari 1040. Around 1990 mostly cinematic music in the beginning recording on cassettes just for fun. 1998 I bought a PC with a dedicated sound card and was more into drum and base music. 2004 I released the album “Insomnia” on the label Magnatune more into industrial/Breaks. 2011 I started my own label Processor now more into house/Synth. 2022 I’m blending everything regarding genre’s Rock. Metal. Industrial. Synth. Pop. Cinematic. 14 albums and 82 singles released so far and more to come.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

PROCESSOR: HEALTH, 3teeth, Carpenter Brut, for the drive. Radiohead and Depeche Mode, for the feeling.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

PROCESSOR: “Pearls And Swines.” It’s a track that represents Modesty Beast well I think. Tiny coldwave feeling, but more rock.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

PROCESSOR: Hmm I’m just I producer and have never been on tour. But if I did they would expect fire and energy.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see yourself heading in 5 years?

PROCESSOR: I will probably sit in a shitty studio and do the production even more distorted. But I will be happy 😊
