Metallica And The Coda Collection Announce Slate Of Upcoming Live Performance And Documentary Films

Metallica have shared a list of live sets and documentaries that will be streaming through Amazon’s “The Coda Collection.” Among them are the band’s 40th anniversary shows, “Cunning Stunts,” “Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México,” and more.

The band commented:

“We’re still buzzing after hanging with so many of you from around the world in December as we celebrated our 40th Anniversary in San Francisco. Now we’re excited to relive it all with our friends at The Coda Collection, who, as you may recall, streamed both Chase Center shows live all as they happened. The channel is relaunching today, kicking off with the rerelease of ‘Cunning Stunts’ and ‘Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México.’ Both nights of the 40 Years of Metallica anniversary shows, freshly re-edited and fully remixed, will be available to stream on March 31 (Night One) and April 7 (Night Two).

Our partnership with Coda will bring seven titles to streaming – most for the first time ever. The anniversary shows will be followed by the streaming debuts of ‘A Year and a Half In The Life of Metallica’: the 1992 documentary chronicling the making of ‘The Black Album,’ ‘Quebec Magnetic’: the concert film documenting back-to-back shows at Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City on the 2009 World Magnetic tour, and ‘Français Pour Une Nuit’: the live performance at Arena of Nîmes in Nîmes, France in 2009.
