Tawny Kitaen’s Cause Of Death Has Officially Been Revealed

Tawny Kitaen’s cause of death has officially been revealed. A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department says the actress died from dilated cardiomyopathy and that it has been ruled as a natural death. Other conditions listed include: mild coronary atherosclerosis (clogged arteries), mirtazapine (antidepressant), mirtazapine metabolite, alprazolam (Xanax), acetaminophen (Tylenol), pregabalin (nerve pain medication) and hydrocodone (opioid). As previously reported, Kitaen died at her Newport Beach home in May 2021 at the age of 59. During her life, the actress was previously married to Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale and starred in some of the band’s videos including their iconic “Here I Go Again” music video. She also previously dated late RATT guitarist Robbin Crosby and appeared on the cover of the band’s self-titled EP and “Out Of The Cellar.”
