Live Nation have officially confirmed that they will be requiring proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results for all artists and fans at upcoming shows. The new policy will go into effect on October 4. On top of that, all employees will also be required to get vaccinated.
Live Nation Entertainment president and CEO Michael Rapino commented:
“Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows, and as of October 4th we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US.”
The company went on to say that the new rules will be implemented “where permitted by law.” They also added the following message for employees:
“Beyond October 4th, all of our employees will also need to be vaccinated in order to visit one of our events, venues, or offices.”
