Rob Zombie has officially confirmed that he is currently working on a movie reboot of “The Munsters.” However, release plans are still pending.
Zombie said the following:

According to a previous report from Bloody Disgusting, the film might be an original/exclusive on NBC’s streaming service Peacock on the same day that it opens in theaters. They also said that the movie was rumored to begin filming in May and that it would feature Sheri Moon Zombie as “Lily Munster” and Jeff Daniel Phillips as “Herman Munster.” The cast will also reportedly include: Richard Brake, Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia, and Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson.
