UPDATE: Stu Block has now issued a statement claiming the deleted Facebook post was “absolutely misunderstood.”
Original Story:
After it was revealed that Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer was wanted by the police and the FBI due to his involvement in the treasonous pro-Trump insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, his bandmates issued a statement distancing themselves from the situation. However, MetalSucks have since shared a screenshot of a deleted Facebook post in which frontman Stu Block voiced his support for the riot. On top of that, he has also been blocking fans that have called him out for his initial comments. This news comes after Block previously responded to a fan about Schaffer’s involvement saying: “I live in Canada and do not really engage in political stuff or share my beliefs. I have chosen to spread love and not comment or allow any hate.”
