D.C. Police Appear To Be Looking For Iced Earth’s Jon Schaffer Following Riot At U.S. Capitol

As previously reported, Iced Earth’s Jon Schaffer is believed to have been part of the pro-Trump mob that stormed the Capitol in Washington, D.C. yesterday (January 6) as lawmakers were counting the Electoral College votes to officially certify President-elect Joe Biden’s win. Now, the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia appear to be searching for the musician and many others connected to the insurrection. They said the following:

“Anyone who can identify these individuals or has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE line at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.”
