Awake At Last have premiered a new song titled “This Means War.” This track features Adelitas Way’s Rick DeJesus and a lyric video for it can be found below:

“When we recorded this song last fall, we originally wrote it about the apocalypse and fighting to survive. With everything going on in the world right now, we wanted to address the current events in our video and the song took on a double meaning to stand up and use your voice to speak up and fight for what you think is right. We can see that right now in the Black Lives Matters protests throughout the country
We were also touched by the actions of Police Sergeant Chris Swanson in Flint, Michigan lead by positive example and unite with protesters
As a band that stands for positivity, we want to see everyone stand TOGETHER united as one and fight against hatred and injustice and to see the change we want, without allowing us to be divided. Take care of each other and hold on!
