Dan Gargiulo has announced his departure from Revocation. The guitarist is leaving the group “to focus on other aspects of [his] life and other musical endeavors.”

Gargiulo said the following:
“I have been reluctant to post anything about myself in the midst of what’s going on in the world, but I feel the need to so that my bandmates can move forward. I’ve decided to leave Revocation to focus on other aspects of my life and other musical endeavors. I know they’ll continue to succeed and I’m excited to see who steps up to replace me.”
Revocation added:
“What’s up everyone, we’ve got some important news to share with you all.
Dan has announced today that he is leaving Revocation. Over the past decade we’ve toured the world together and have released 5 full length records and an EP since he joined, needless to say we’ve had an excellent run. There is no bad blood between Dan or any of the members of the band, it was simply time for him to change paths and focus on other musical and life endeavors. We wish him nothing but the best in the future and we’re excited to hear his next musical offerings. We’ll miss ya DG!
Writing is currently well underway for our next full length, we plan to continue on as a 3 piece for now but we’ll be bringing in a 2nd guitar player down the line once we start the tour cycle for our next full length.”
