Ronnie James Dio’s widow Wendy Dio is planning a special gala to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the singer’s death. She said the following about that during a recent interview for “The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show”:
“On 2/20/20, which is February 20th, 2020, we’ll be doing the 10th memorial anniversary gala, and we’ll be going through a lot of people that were in Ronnie’s life and giving them an award. We’ll also have the [Ronnie James Dio] hologram. We’ll have other bands playing. We’ll have a comedian. It’s gonna be a fun night at the Wiltern, off of Wilshire in Los Angeles. And we’ve got a lot of treats going on. In fact, tomorrow we get the first invitation out for the award show.”
