According to Reuters, Metallica donated 250,000 euros (approximately $279,000) to a Romanian pediatric oncology hospital prior to their sold-out August 14 show at Arena Națională in Bucharest. The donation was made to Daruieste Viata (Give Life) through the band’s All Within My Hands foundation.
