Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Unveil The Strength

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Unveil The Strength’s Matt Snell (ex-Five Finger Death Punch).

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

SNELL: I joined Unveil the Strength in January of 2018. Mark Wölfe (vocalist) and I have been friends a long time however have had conflicting schedules musically. We came to a point where we were both free and available to work on music so we got started. We began writing and recuited Guitarist Andy James, Keyboardist Matt Guillory and Drummer Tim Hassemer. We set out to write real metal music with a real message. To engage fans through great song writing and performance.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

SNELL: Metal wise, It would be bands I have toured with mostly. Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Godsmack, Lamb of God… so many LOL… seeing how these bands functioned and performed was amazing.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

SNELL: Our record is titled “Foundations” .. We have released 2 songs so far. They are available on all digital platforms or through Streaming services like Spotify. We are releasing each song one at a time instead of dropping the whole record at once. Our focus was on the songwriting. These songs are well written and the production team really made it special. We are very pleased with how it came out. I believe your readers will be as well!

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

SNELL: We are a high energy passionate band. We love our music and it shows. We dont go through the motions. We perform and it happens naturally.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

SNELL: Hopefully in the right direction and On Time for the show!!!!
