According to Deadline, Glenn Danzig‘s feature film directorial debut “Verotika” will receive a VOD release on Halloween (October 31). A Blu-ray/DVD release will follow later in the year. The movie will also be screened at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood on June 25. Additional screenings are being planned in New York, San Francisco, Austin, etc. The film is an anthology based on three characters and storylines from the frontman’s “Verotik” comic series and the cast includes Ashley Wisdom, Rachel Alig, Alice Haig, Kayden Kross, etc. It’s worth noting that initial reviews of the movie have been unfavorable with outlets like Bloody Disgusting calling it “the horror equivalent of ‘The Room’.”
