The Armed Seem To Be Trolling Frank Turner & Frank Carter With Their New Song “Ft. Frank Turner”

The Armed have released a new song titled “Ft. Frank Turner” as part of the Adult Swim Singles series. However, the track has been met with controversy from Frank Turner, who told Stereogum that the band took some vocals from one of his unreleased demos: “I was not at any point aware this was happening, don’t know the band personally (though I am a casual fan), and didn’t clear this.” The band seemed to address those claims saying: “CHECK OUT OUR NEW-ASS, 80-SECOND LONG-ASS, RIDDLED WITH UNCLEARED SAMPLES-ASS SONG ‘FT. FRANK TURNER’…” They also posted another statement saying: “It saddens us to hear that he’s upset about the song. We’ve been big fans of Gallows for a long time.” Obviously, Turner wasn’t a member of Gallows, but Frank Carter was and his picture is oddly being used as the single’s artwork. An official video for the track is expected to be released tomorrow (June 6).
