Saxon have announced that they will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary with the release of “The Eagle Has Landed 40 (Live).” The effort will be available on August 2 and it will feature 40 songs covering four decades. Fans will be able to purchase the set in the following formats: digital/streaming, triple-CD combo packed in a six-panel digipack with a 16-page booklet, 12-inch lid-off boxset featuring 5 x 12″ 180-gram vinyl, “The Eagle Has Landed 40 (Live)” tour pass, slipmat, and an exclusive 40-page book, and 747 Signature Edition Boxset (limited to 747 copies) featuring an exclusive 23-plectrum set with album artwork from all 22 of the band’s albums, a limited edition “The Eagle Has Landed 40 (Live)” plectrum, and an autographed print of Biff Byford’s original hand-written lyric sheet for “747 (Strangers In The Night).”
