Judas Priest Logo Designer & Album Artist Rosław Szaybo Passes Away

Rosław Szaybo, the designer that created Judas Priest’s logo and a number of their early album covers, has sadly passed away at the age of 85. His work includes the artwork for “Sin After Sin,” “Killing Machine,” “Stained Class,” “British Steel,” and the European version of “Point of Entry.” Notably, his hand is also the one gripping the razor blade on “British Steel.” Aside from Judas Priest, Szaybo also helped create artwork for Elton John, Roy Orbison, and tons more.
