Queen’s biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” has been nominated for five Oscars including: “Best Picture,” “Sound Editing,” “Sound Mixing,” “Film Editing,” and “Best Actor” for Rami Malek’s portrayal of Freddie Mercury. This news comes after the film previously scored two Golden Globes including one for “Best Motion Picture – Drama” and one for Malek as “Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama”. The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will air February 24 on ABC.
