Nirvana Reportedly Sue Marc Jacobs For Ripping Off Their Smiley Face Design

According to TMZ, Nirvana are suing Marc Jacobs for ripping off their “smiley face” logo. The suit was filed in response to a shirt in Jacobs’ “Bootleg Redux Grunge” product line, which features the squiggly face with the X’s switched out for the letters “M” and “J.” The band have held the trademark for the logo since 1992 and their camp is saying the shirt is a “blatant ripoff.” You can read more about that HERE.
