Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Flowmotion

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Flowmotion.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

FLOWMOTION: We are Flowmotion, an electrocore/metalcore band from Como, North Italy. This project rose from the ashes of our old band, with Thomas (vocals), Andrea (drums) and Enea (bass). Fabio (guitar) came suddenly and has become a part of the family. Then Mattia (guitar) joined us after one year, so the band is complete.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

FLOWMOTION: Our influences come from different genres and from our different backgrounds. Our inspiration comes from band like: Eskimo Callboy, Attila, Crossfaith, In Flames and others.

METAL ANARCHY: What can you say about your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

FLOWMOTION: Our last work was All But Nothing, but really soon you will hear our new track. You should listen for two reasons. The first, because it’s fucking cool. The second: because we have to pay to rent the bus for the tours.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

FLOWMOTION: They can expect really calm and chill music with a cup of tea. No way, it’s fucking hard man. If you are ready for a pure and rude metalcore/elctrocore show you are invited to our show. Otherwise it’s better to stay at home and search for a cheese tv show.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

FLOWMOTION: We don’t want to put a limit on us. Our dream is to become famous and that kind of shit, but we are happy with our work, and even if we have to play in front of ten people, for us it’s a pleasure. Doesn’t matter where or when. It’s still art dude. Our art. And the most important thing about art is to show it.
