I Prevail’s Brian Burkheiser recently took to Twitter to talk about the band’s upcoming album. You can see what he had to say below:
This album will be the realest shit we ever have put out. Every song and the lyrics behind it touch on things we’ve gone through the past few years, and well most the topics are very dark, it was a much needed healing process to get a lot of this stuff out.

I hope these songs hit you as hard as they hit me. They say you learn a lot about yourself and your sound as you grow older as a band, and I honestly think we’ve discovered what ours truly is. It’s been hard dealing with a lot of hate over the years…

But hopefully this record can make those who don’t like us see that we are real people, just trying to get through life like everyone else. It’s scary opening up as much as we have on this album, but it’s time that you truly see the real us.

Gonna go into hibernation and finish the record now, see ya soon.
