Slayer’s Merchandising Company Taking Legal Action Against Bootleggers

According to the Northern California Record, Global Merchandising Services, who have exclusive merchandising rights to Slayer, have filed a federal suit in an effort to get local law enforcement to crack down on bootleggers throughout the band’s North American farewell tour. The site goes on to say the complaint was filed for “trademark infringement and unfair competition against various unnamed defendants.” The suit was filed before the May 10 opening date of the trek.
