Life Of Agony’s Las Vegas Show Was Cancelled After A Teacher Made Terroristic Threats

Life Of Agony‘s May 16 show at the Beauty Bar in Las Vegas, NV was cancelled after a Bonanza High School teacher named Leslie McGourty made some terroristic threats. According to lasvegasnow.com, McGourty revealed her plans to friends, who then contacted the authorities. One message said the following: “Imagine knowing exactly the moment you’re going to die. Knowing exactly that your favorite song will be playing. By your favorite band. It’s just too perfect.” Another one also said that she wanted to “poke a lot of holes in a lot of people,” while others mentioned past terror attacks including the horrific Vegas shooting at the Route 91 Harvest festival. She went on to say: “I have the means, motive, and brains,” adding that “Vegas will lose its luster after me” and that she “will start a movement. Another me-too movement. But this time in which women feel empowered enough to become serial killers.” McGourty admitted to sending the texts and is currently out on bail.
