Muse’s “Drones World Tour” Concert Film To Hit Cinemas For One Night Only

Muse have announced that their “Drones World Tour” concert film will be screened in theaters across the country for one night only on July 12. The film was shot and directed by Tom Kirk and Jan Willem Schram, and it features performances that took place across multiple cities in 2016. The movie is expected to include a career-spanning set, as well as “the ultimate audio/visual sensory experience” through an “eerie, dystopian world” created by drones, projections, and LED lasers. Tickets will go on sale on May 3. For ticket and theater information head to musedrones.film. Frontman Matt Bellamy commented:

“The symbiosis between humanity and technology has always been something I am interested by. Drones just seem to be a very interesting modern metaphor for what that represents… You want to leave people with the idea that they ask the question themselves about the role of technology in our lives and whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing.”
