While in Belarus, former Deep Purple and Rainbow singer Joe Lynn Turner was hospitalized due to a “heart issue.” The news was originally reported by the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, who said the vocalist was “stable” after being treated at a Minsk facility for a “myocardial infarction” (also known as a heart attack). A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said he was transported by ambulance to the hospital and that he will continue to receive treatment.
