Cave In, Etc. Bassist Caleb Scofield Dead At 39

Caleb Scofield (Cave In, Old Man Gloom, Zozobra) has tragically passed away at the age of 39. The musician’s death comes after he crashed his truck into a concrete barrier at a toll booth in Bedford, NH yesterday (March 28). According to Unionleader.com, the vehicle rolled over and burst into flames upon impact. The article goes on to say the truck “was so badly damaged in the crash and fire that authorities were unable to determine the identity or gender of the victim.” A memorial fund has been launched via youcaring.com. R.I.P.
