Ozzy Osbourne just announced the dates for his final world tour earlier today, but that doesn’t mean the singer will be hanging it up for good. In new interview with Rolling Stone, he confirmed that he still plans to play shows, just not full tours for months on end. Osbourne said the following
“I’m not retiring It’s ‘No More Tours’, so I’m just not doing world tours anymore. I’m still going to be doing gigs, but I’m not going on tour for six months at a time anymore. I’d like to spend some time at home.”
He also said he wants to “slow it down a little” so he can be there for his family. “I enjoy being a grandfather,” said Osbourne. “I don’t want to go through another generation of Osbournes without seeing them grow up.”
After the trek, he may record a new album, which he says he has “eight or nine good song ideas” for. He also added:
“It’s what I do. It’s my job. And when I say, ‘It’s my job,’ I mean it’s a passion for me. It’s the greatest love affair I ever had, being in a rock band and playing for the people who come to the shows.”
