Pearl Jam Announce Seattle “Home Shows” To Fight Homelessness

Pearl Jam will be playing two shows at Safeco Fieldin Seattle, WA on August 8 and August 10. These “Home Shows” are being put on as a way to “unite the community to help alleviate homelessness in the city of Seattle.” The band will pledge $1 million toward local homelessness initiatives, and are challenging others to help reach their goal $10 million pledged toward addressing homelessness in 2018. Stone Gossard commented:

“Seattle is our hometown. When there are challenges here, we want to be part of the solution. It’s heartening so many organizations and individuals coming together to do the same. It’s going to take all of us.”
