Sons Of Apollo, the band featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Journey, etc.), guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Art Of Anarchy, ex-Guns N’ Roses), bassist Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs), keyboardist Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater, etc.), and drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs), have announced that they will be performing with an orchestra during a special show at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on September 22, 2018. The concert will feature two sets, including a “very special covers set,” and it will be recorded for a new live CD/DVD.
