According to The Spokesman-Review, all four members of Decapitated have been released from jail, while they wait to go to trial for kidnapping and rape charges, which they have pleaded not guilty to. These charges stem from an incident that occurred after their August 31 show in Spokane, WA, in which a woman claims to have been gang raped by them. The band were released on their own recognizance and did not have to post bail, which was originally set at $100,000. They are scheduled to go to trial on January 16, and Judge Julie McKay has ordered them not to leave Washington until then. To make sure they comply, they were forced to sign waivers of extradition. They are also forbidden to talk to each other without lawyers present. It is also worth noting that the group have gained the support of Polish politician Dominik Tarczynsk, and that Thy Art Is Murder’s Andy Marsh has given a testimony saying the woman’s injuries were related to moshing.
