Staind & Godsmack Members Pay Tribute To Chester Bennington & Chris Cornell At Aaron Lewis And Friends Benefit Concert

Staind’s Aaron Lewis recently hosted his sixth annual “Aaron Lewis Invitational Charity Golf Tournament” and “Aaron Lewis And Friends” benefit concert in Northampton, Massachusetts, and was joined by numerous guests including Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Sully Erna (Godsmack) and more. Among the various performances, there was a couple tributes that took place including Lewis, Erna, and Mike Mushok (Staind) paying tribute to the late Chester Bennington with a cover Linkin Park’s “Crawling” and the same three paying tribute to the late Chris Cornell with a cover of Temple Of The Dog’s “Hunger Strike.” You can see footage of that below. In other news, the concert notably featured a full Staind reunion as well, with Lewis, Mushok, Johnny April, and Sal Giancarelli taking the stage for acoustic versions of “Outside,” “Something to Remind You,” and, “It’s Been Awhile.”
