Austin Carlile Tells Fan That Of Mice & Men “Weren’t Going To Let [Him] Write What [He] Wanted On Next Record”

Austin Carlile previously revealed that he left Of Mice & Men due health reasons related to his Marfan Syndrome, but now it appears there may be more reasons for his exit. According to Rock Feed, a fan on Instagram asked Carlile if he would still write with the band and he responded by saying the following:

“no i will no longer be writing with them, one of the reasons I left. they weren’t going to let me write what i wanted on next record. that’s not gonna happen. I will write what I want despite what that means giving up.”
