He Is Legend have posted a new album update, which you can read below. In it, the band revealed that their new album is taking awhile to come out due to them trying to find a label to release it.

Here’s the band’s statement:

“Hello Dear Friends,

First of all, we’d like to thank every one of you for your patience in the time we have taken to produce this album. We couldn’t have done this without you and we are truly grateful. We have made sure to exhaust every avenue in producing a product that we are all proud of, more so than any previous record, and we think we have made a killer record in doing so.

Some people have questions as to why this has taken so long for us to get the physical copies into their hands and we hope this short update sets your minds at ease.

We chose to use a crowdfunding site to collect money to record, mix, master, produce the artwork, the goods that were presented as perks, as well as manufacture the physical copies of the record. If we would have stopped there, our album would have been released in physical copies only to the few of you who purchased them through the 30 day campaign, leaving other album sales to be dependant on word of mouth and only online. This, to us, seemed counterproductive to what He Is Legend needs in a longterm goal- which is to get into the ears and eyes of people who have not yet experienced what we are best at.

That being said, we have looked into label services to get a worldwide record release as well as marketing that this album deserves. That is something that none of us could have done on our own and also explains the delay in the release.

We reworded our contract many times to ensure that those of you who were involved in the campaign get the album first, as well as a private stream, as soon as a release date is announced. We had to make sure that you guys are top priority, as we couldn’t have done it without you. This also ensures that physical copies will be in stores and that we are getting proper tours throughout this drop.

We can assure you we are out of the woods now and very happy with the way 2017 is shaping up. This is going to be a wild ride and we are so happy to have you guys on board with us. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram for updated tour info and breaking news.
