Rush’s Geddy Lee, and Alex Lifeson answered fan submitted questions for Rolling Stone, and were asked about the band’s future plans. You can see some of Lee’s responses below:
Lee on future touring:
“Are we going to tour again? That’s the question that I’d like to know myself. I can’t answer the question, because I have no idea myself, but it doesn’t look good at this point.”
“Not all of us agree on whether they want to tour again. It’s difficult because we all have a sort of different idea about touring and, at this moment, we are not all on the same page.”
Lee on the possibility of new music:
“We don’t have any immediate plans for that. Right now we’re on holiday. I hope once the New Year rolls around and the juices get flowing and we get hungry again, we can talk about that.”
Lee on whether or not the band is finished:
“Not in my mind. But I can’t speak for everyone.”
For now the band have a new live DVD called “R40 Live” set for a November 20 release.
