Islander have revealed that they have parted ways with drummer Eric Frazier and bassist Chris Doot. There is no official word on who will replace them, but the band will continue on.
The band issued the following statement:
“It’s never an easy task to explain to people why someone was kicked out of a band or why someone quit. Its unfortunate that we are now in this position, but we are. If you haven’t heard by now, Eric and Doot are no longer with Islander. Basically there was a conflict of interest that couldn’t be resolved. We love those guys and hope the absolute best for them in any future endeavors. As for Islander, we will continue and will see you guys next week at Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH as well as in Rochester, NY with Rise Against! Also, check the dates for all information about our upcoming tour with 10 Years. Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support. We love all of you more than you know. See you on the road, family!”
