Paradise Lost have revealed that they are recording a new album, which will be released in April, via Century Media. The band said this album will draw from their “very early days” and will have more of a “death metal edge.”
They said the following about the effort:
“We began recording sessions for our new album this week with Jamie Gomez Arellano of Orgone Studios in London (Ghost BC Ulver, Cathedral, Angel Witch) – http://www.orgonestudios.com
Our approach on this album is quite different and embraces the band’s VERY early days, with the last few years. We have written a very dark, yet melodic album – but this time many songs definitely have a death metal edge, which is something we haven’t done for a long, long time in Paradise Lost…
The album is set to be released via Century Media Records in late April 2015.”
