Korn was set to play in Russia, when guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch, was hospitalized, due to a kidney stone. Welch will be missing the next few shows with the band, while he recovers. He is currently at Krasnoyarsk Hospital.
Welch said the following on his Facebook page:
“I’m in hospital for a few days. So sorry Russia i cant be at a few shows. I have kidney stone. Thank you SO MUCH for your understanding, well wishes, prayers and love. I am very touched by your hearts in my situation.”
Also, according to Loudwire, a video, from the hospital, was posted of Welch apologizing for not being able to play in Russia, and thanking JR Bareis, from Love & Death, for filling in for Korn’s May 19 show with Soulfly.
