Thrice ended up cancelling their September 17 show at Delmar Hall in St. Louis, MO due to a health issue. Now, vocalist/guitarist Dustin Kensrue has further explained the situation.

Kensrue said the following:
“Hey everyone! Dustin here. Thank you for all the well wishes and kind words yesterday! We have the best fans. Here’s the update on the cancelled show last night. I had been having some unusual shortness of breath over two days and ended up going to the urgent care just to be safe. The doctor there told me that I needed to cancel the show and go to the ER to rule out a possible pulmonary embolism or cardiac issues.
I got a second opinion from another doctor who agreed and so I reluctantly cancelled the show and spent a few hours at the ER getting some tests done. Everything was negative so I’m all set to continue the tour. Our apologies to everyone who was coming out to the show last night. We’ll be back as soon as we can to make it up to you.
Cheers!”
