During an interview with Roadie Crew, Van Halen’s Alex Van Halen blasted his former bandmate Sammy Hagar. He said the following when asked about David Lee Roth’s “Crazy From The Heat” book and Hagar’s “Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock” book:

“[Roth’s book is] quite fun and accurately reflects his sense of humor. Although the text is somewhat abstract and loses its train of thought at times, it’s still a very interesting perspective on that era. I don’t know what [Hagar] wrote, and I don’t wanna know. In my opinion, Sammy Hagar is a complete idiot.”
