According to RadarOnline.com, Ilan Rubin (Foo Fighters, ex-Nine Inch Nails) has been accused of trying to gain control over Q Drum Co., the drum company he launched with the late Jeremy Berman. The allegations were part of a cross-complaint from Berman’s significant other Brandi Booth, who serves as the executor and sole beneficiary of his estate.

The legal papers, which were filed in San Bernardino Superior Court, claim Rubin attempted to take over the business following Berman’s death. However, Booth says she was granted her late partner’s 51% ownership interest through the estate.
Despite this, she alleges that Rubin ignored her authority, seized company assets, manipulated financial records, etc. She also accused Rubin of selling company property without permission or sharing accounting details, taking over Berman’s email and financial accounts, withholding company books and records, manipulating tax filings, letting company tax obligations and SBA loans lapse, and obtaining federal trademark registrations.
She also claims Rubin and an associate named Roger Ko improperly took over funds from a GoFundMe for Berman’s family. She went on to accuse them of making false and misleading comments about her authority. The complaint also included claims of breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, fraud and civil conspiracy. Booth is currently seeking compensatory damages, restitution, punitive damages, and other relief. She is also asking for a trial by jury.
