Vianova To Perform With Laptop After Their Drummer Required Surgery And His Fill-In Got Hospitalized

Vianova’s June 9 show in Hamburg, Germany will see the band playing drum tracks on a laptop. The band were forced into that position after drummer Paul Vogelgesang required hernia surgery and fill-in drummer Nick Oberhäuser ended up in the hospital. The group issued the following statement:

“Hey Hamburg, we had some real bad luck yesterday. Unfortunately Paul could not make the show, because he is getting surgery for his hernia. A fill in drummer was supposed to help out, however he also got hospitalized yesterday because he got really ill. We will still play the show tonight with the support of our good buddy DrumGPT aka our laptop. Hope you guys understand and still give us the same energy as a 3-piece”
