Guilt Trip have teamed up with Adidas for some new limited edition shoes. The Superstar II-style footwear will be available on June 6. Drummer Tom Aimson told Hype Beast the following about the shoes:
“Adidas is ingrained in our culture. Being from the north of England, you see the brand in music, football and beyond because it’s what people relate to the most around here. We’re honored to be working with them on a shoe, especially the Superstar II.”
He also added:
“Superstars were everywhere when we were kids. Seeing Korn, Slipknot and all the other megal bands wearing them in the late ’90s-early ’00s was a massive influence as well as the general Manchester style.”
